Gemstones & Fresh Water Pearls = FUN!

I love this photo!
Debbie (right) President of our
"Beaders' Anonymous"
and Cherri are discussing "beads", of course!
Ann's expression (center) says it all...
"WE LOVE BEADS!"

Ann made this fabulous bracelet (above)!
She is now our resident wrap expert!
There were well over 150 wraps in that piece!

Ted worked hard to help everyone
get their gemstone selections!
Below, one of our youngest
"beading entrepeneurs"
loving her fabulous beads!

We received lots of new items...
and beaders enjoyed making their selections!

Cherri was showing Debbie how to mix colors
with the great selections of gemstones and pearls.
Debbie drives 55 miles for beads from
A BEAD BOUTIQUE!

Beads! Beads! Beads!

Girls... Beads... FUN!

Great fall colors!

Pearls in great fall colors!

What can I say? Beautiful beads... right here in Alexandria @ A BEAD BOUTIQUE!

No "trunk show" in the next few days... it seems that Hurricane Gustav is going to keep everyone busy in Central Louisiana! Leigh and her family have gone on further north!

More beads!
The "gray sheep agate" is spectacular!

Patty in pursuit of just the right beads!
(She found them!)

As we anticipate the next 36 to 72 hours in Central Louisiana... looking at Hurricane Gustav... not being sure how we'll be impacted... so much uncertainty! I thank God for this fact: God is in control! He calmed the seas... walked on water... and the wind obeyed His command!

May you find comfort, encouragement, peace, and strength in one of your favorite promises from the Bible! One of my favorites: "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" (Joshua 29:11) I imagine that as the winds howl outside, I'll be quoting this verse inside... over and over!
